What is YoBulk?

YoBulk is an open source business-to-business data exchange and onboarding platform for CSV files. It's an open source alternative to flatfile.com,oneschema.co
80% of data sharing between businesses are still happening through CSV,excel and other flatfile formats. YoBulk is on a mission to create a defacto OSS data exchange framework for businesses running on CSV files.
Applications can embedd a Yobulk powered importer button and allow users to import CSV data with minimal friction.

YoBulk enables businesses to exchange customer data in a streamlined and easy way with customized import flows. Import flow is powered by adding validation templates to import button and make data cleaning process amazingly fast through collaboration.

Right now,YoBulk supports CSV format only.

Who can use YoBulk?

Developer(Power-User): As a developer, you are asked to create a full stack CSV importer for onboarding customer data.
Customer Sucess team member(Low-Code User): As a part of CS team, you are looking for a No-Code platform to onboard customer data with speific schema/template.
Common User(Ex: Marketer): Any user, who wants to validate and clean the data. For example, You want to run a marketing campaign and want to validate your CRM data against a linkedin,hubspot templates before uploading to marketing platforms.

Why are we building this?

We have gone through the pain of building a scalable CSV importer. Everyday thousand of developers go through the same pain and hundreds of companies have to get spreadsheet and CSV data into a database.

Enterprises like Flatfile.com are addressing the problem but it has constraints like weak data security and high pricing. While developers want an embeddable/scalable CSV importer for SaaS, the truth is that it is not very possible to come up with a one-size fits all solution in such a fragmented market.

All these restrictions necessitate our mission - to make it possible for anyone to create an data import solution that suit their needs well.

To Developers, we would like to offer flatfiles.com's functionality along with bring your own validation rule experience. You can design and modify your way, with next.js framework written in javascript.
To enterprises , YoBulk is dedicated to bring data security. Moreover, you have 100% control of your data armed with long-term maintainability.

To be honest, we do not claim to outperform flatfile.com in terms of functionality and design, at least for now. Besides, our priority is to add more functionalities at the moment. we would like to cultivate a community to democratize the knowledge and bring all CSV and flatfile open source projects under a single umbrella.
